Well, I swapped a larger hard drive out of my desktop into my Linux dev machine today, and installed ubuntu.
After another insanely simple installation (apart from when the LVM partitioning crashed out), I hit a snag. Wireless, although being detected, was not being initialised correctly.
It would appear under iwconfig and ifconfig, but could you get it to do anything? Could you heck.

So. I popped over the http://rt2x00.serialmonkey.com and grabbed the last daily snapshot build, ran the compile, etc etc.
A quick command later (sudo ifup ra0), I had wireless connectivity!

Next to try is Borland Kylix installation....
